Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and animal rights advocate in America. Her work has received acclaim for films like Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born into an artistic family. Beginning she was employed as an photographer's assistant. Then her work changed into directing and modeling. Her first two movies were noticed, and she was awarded recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films, she was voted the Top female box-office start around the globe. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were made in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
