Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the United States for over 40 years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. In 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. In 1957, she released her debut music album called It's time for Tina. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood as God's Little Acre a drama released in 1958. She was Griselda, a character in the movie. When she was an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood and Broadway, playing somber characters to counter her image of glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary however she also was an accomplished television director on numerous series, including Supernatural & The 100. The family she was born into moved out of Essex to Toronto and she lived there for childhood and adolescence. In 1997 after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in Vancouver ever since.
